i need suggestions for rotary cutting tools. i need to cut baffles and holes for some front speakers, but i dont want to use a jigsaw, becuz it makes rough cuts.
i only know of the Rotozip, but that thing cost alomst $200, right?
You must get a dremel. Everyone should have a dremel. If I was rich I would pull an oprah and buy everyone a dremel. lol.
A router attachement or circle attachment is also what you want.

you dont need a dremel for that, you need a router. dremel is for small things, you would have a hellava time cutting through .5" of mdf with a dremel.

^ ive done it ... didnt have "hellava time" ... it was quite easy
however for like a 6" hole, you can use a hole saw [its actually a big saw drill bit] ... or just use a jigsaw [used that to cut the holes in one of my speaker boxes]

personally, i like to use the right tool for the job, not make do with one tool and a shit load of accessories to make it into what i actually want it to be.
