I don't think you really have to? I've seen some cheaper 1s at Ebay or this website.

CD changers are a waste of money IMO

Why not just change them manually yourself?

This can give you more music if youre not dead set on a cd changer. If you've got an ipod, pioneer makes an adapter that you can use with it. Not sure if you can control it through a regular head unit though instead of one of the ipod ready ones. The cheapest option if you have any mp3 player or anything with a head phone jack would be to get the headphone jack adapter or the aux input adapter. They just plug into the cd changer port. I think I'm going to go with the headphone jack adapter soon. This might be just as bad as what youve got now though cuz you cant control it through the head unit.

You can probably look around and find closer seller locations and cheaper prices but this will give you something to go on.

Well, Pionner does make a new HU with a built in iPod controller. It can also play songs off a flash drive.
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...818745,00.html
Flash Drive > MP3 CD

It's a little pricey, I see it for about $225-250 shipped off ebay.
