Keys
right, but on a new car they have to give you at least 2 keys. I woman's story on the Internet I read, with another manufaturer, was that she, as we all can, ended up losing one key, then a few months later, the other. Expecting, like me, they were regualr old keys, she contacted the dealer thinking she'd pay a few bucks for a copy from their master. Instead, she was told there were no masters, and the charge would be $3000 to put a new computer in. With the help of the local "Action Reporter" she was finally able to arrange some deal with the maufacturer, but it was a long-lasting nightmare for her, during which she had no car. So, the advice stands : late model used car buyers: ASK if there's a buit-in Engine Immobilizer. If so, make sure there are SPARES.
