Connecting a Video Ipod to your Indash Dvd?

I uploaded some music videos into my 30gig video ipod.

I connected some rcas into my Kenwood 25th XXX-05V In Dash DVD into my IPOD.

I only can see the images or the video into my screen, but im not getting any sound out of my speakers in my truck.

I connected to my Aux input 1. But no sound!

Ahh!

Any help is gladly appreciated!

well, right off the bat, i can't tell you what is wrong, i assume you get sound when your playing a cd, and the the wires you used for your ipod, you would get sound if you hooking it up to a regular TV. Also try hooking some other audio device in through the Aux in and see if you get sound there, if your only not getting sound from the ipod device and only when your connected to the CD player, then i have no ideas and you should talk to a kenwood tech. In theory, either you have bad wires, or a bad connections, so make sure the wires are outputting audio by hooking it up to the inputs on a tv, then test another device on the imput for your car stereo. most likely, one of those should also not work, and then you will know where your problem is.

Okay, i tested out on my tv, from my dvd player aux input. It works, video and music.

But no music is coming out from my in dash dvd.... Maybe i should burn the damn videos on a dvd disc...

I'll contact kenwood, yes everything plays fine in my setup in my vehicle.
