please help

ok when i turn the volume on my hu to 80...i notice my rpms drop as the bass hits (when my car is at idle)

also i noticed that the end of my altinator (the part where the the skrew is holding sum wiring on) the lil plastic housing was deteriorated

i was told that i should get a 90 amp altinator and or a cap

is this true...only my interior lights dim at night my headlights and tail lights dont dim.....

any help would be apperciated

What kind of amp are you using?
I would much rather get an upgraded alt compared to a cap anyday.. caps are useless... they are mostly for SQ...
anyway.. I think you should get a deep cycle battery or an upgraded alt (or both if you have the $$$)

get a high output alternator. dominick iraggi can make you good custom ones. then get an optima and youll be all good.

how much does a pretty good alt run for?
SOmething like 200 amps?

im running a kicker kx300.2....so im runnin probally 300 watts or so
