USA 2005 Corolla S Speaker/Stereo Question

I'm looking into upgrading the stock speakers, mainly just the doors and the rear (I have 6, which I assume would include the tweeters). I also have the factory 6-disc in dash changer and I plan on keeping it.

Has anyone else done this and what speakers are compatible with the in dash changer?

I don't want to go too crazy, I just want to upgrade the speakers because I think one of them is blown.

if u just want to replace the speakers and leave the stock deck, i believe the rolla's have 6 1/2's up front and 6x9's in the rear. u can get a set of 6.5's and 6x9's and just drop them in(you might need baffles to fit them in correctly). i recommend diamond audio, mb quart(nothing less than reference series) and i cant think of any others right now.

You won't realize the true sound potential an aftermarket headunit has to offer until you've sampled it. I would get the HU before buying speakers if I had to choose.
