looking for recommendation on the best 5-channel amp under $700.

looking for recommendation on the best 5-channel amp under $700. (or even a 6-channel amp) I want to power 4 speakers and a subwoofer from one single amp. I listen to 70% classical and 30% rock. Overal sound quality is more important to me than the loudest sounds....

Thanks for helping!

What are the specifications and RMS power ratings of all your speakers and subwoofers?

Need to know these before a proper recommendation can be made.

I was actually trying to decide on an amp first, then pick out component speakers and subs based on the amps specs.

Here's what my budget is like: $700 for 5-channel amp, $600 for 4 component speakers, $400 for subwoofer, $300 for required wiring/cables. (but I'm flexible up to 20-percent above those numbers)

Thanks!

Don't you already have a subwoofer?

Memphis Car Audio has their Memphis Belle series. I own the big belle, but the small one seems right up your alley... 55x4+400x1 and they sell for under 700 I think... No prices on their website.
Great sounding amps, clean look, and small enough to be installed out of the way.
Hope this helps.

Yes... but I will get a different one, based on what new amp I get.

Man you have alot of money to be burning on car audio equipment... geez..

By the way.. I hope like hell the Baby Belle didnt cost anyone $700 dollars because you can get it for far cheaper then that...

Also I would recommend either of those two for you as they are nice amps. (Baby Belle or Big Belle) You can get the big belle for $550 something brand new.. so how did you get $700 for the baby belle?

You could also try an Elemental Designs Nine.5
Or and Arc Audio 5150xxk

Those are the only real suggestions I have for 5 channels.

Sorry, I was being lazy and didn't want to go searching for prices... I merely said that the baby bell sells for under $700 at my local dealer (as far as I remember). I'm sure it can be had for less than the budget given.
