I havent been to fond of Kenwoods things.

I'm sure it's fine but I just don't like them as much.

As in regards to that Square Trade nonsense... I think it's kinda a scam warranty, but I havent actually used it. Just seems werid to me.

Those H/U's are a tid bit cheaper on ebay as well... but not really enough to justify the lack of warranty.

Clarion makes a pretty cool one. Its called the Clarion MAX675VDII.. you need the little navigation deal to have navigation however. Here's the link to that http://www.clarion.com/us/en/product...294767543.html

There is also a listing on ebay right now for one for pretty cheap considering it lists at $1200 on Clarion's site.

Here's the Ebay Listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/Clarion-MAX675VD...QQcmdZViewItem

Also you can try Alpines IVA-W205, but you will also need the PMD-B200 (which isnt currently out atm) to get navigation.

These can also be had on ebay for a considerably lower price. Around about $665 instead of Alpine's suggested price of $1000.

I perfer both of these units over the Kenwood tho personally, but its up to you.

Also almost forgot the Pioneer AVIC-Z2. Already has navigation inside but obviously costs more. Definatly worth it from what I hear, very nice unit.

I have the older model of that from 2004 and I love it, but I have the GPS with it, and i find that it is really only a good unit with the GPS, but that is a 3 year old model, and i'm sure they have made it more fun without a video on the screen.

I run a kenwood and i love it it has great sound clarity to me. I have been considering geeting that headunit for awhile and if i had the cheese i would. And it takes me a long time to choose a headunit however both clarion and alpine are good headunits. When it comes down to it i would comepare the features and what you like about the unit before making the final choice.
