IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP--Camry/Avalon

Hello,

I am in a real bind. I lost my mom's 02 Avalon Keyless Entry. I need to have another one or she will charge me to buy it new (~$200). I have 3 perfect condition Latest model Camry Keyless entries that I will trade/sell to get an Avalon Keyles entry. I have all the part #s so please email me if you can help. I know I have never posted before (I have a Camaro), but will prove my trustworthyness in ANY way. I really need someone to help me out here, I am desperate.

I'm assuming this was the keyless entry and NOT a factory alarm system. My suggestion is for you to go back to ANY toyota dealership and ask for the FCC ID's for your avalon car! Then go on ebay and buy the remotes for your car. THEN, go back to the dealership with the remotes and the car. (my wife took in my solara, and they reprogramed 4 remotes for FREE). Eithercase, it could not take more than 1/2 hour for their tech (meaning close to 35-40 bucks). Good luck!

I can help you out for sure...go and get your mother's remote...and tell me the FCC ID at the back. I can almost guarantee that it's:

FCC ID GQ43VT14T

I know that this model is used for the Avalon, Camry's, Celica, Matrix...almost all of the late model Toyota's. Your Camry ones should work perfectly if they have the same ID's. I bought Celica ones from ebay for like $5.99.

You DON'T need to go to the dealership to program the remote...you can find the programming instructions on the web that you can do yourself. Heck, here they are!!!

So how will you prove your trustworthyness in ANY way???

Tommorrow I am taking my Camry to this shop to see if I can re-enable my Toyota VIP security system. As soon as I do, I am going to purchase the remotes and program them.
