component or 2/3-way speakers

I have a camry 99 le, so I have no obvious place for a tweeter(LE has no tweeter and no "vent" to place one so i would have to customize or something) so would a 2/3 way speaker be better

I am also looking for an pretty easy install and not too expensive(no more than $100 for the 6.5 in the front)

Is it recommended to get shallow mount 6.5'' if available(i know infinity has some)

how much of a difference is an amp going to make?
i'm getting(i think) a DEH-P590ib HU and it has
Peak: 50 watts x 4 chan.
RMS: 22 watts x 4 chan.

quality>quanity

o ya this is the front speakers

Thanks

if you are getting component speakers, amp them.. there is a huge difference.. as for mounting issues, i would look into getting baffles made to house the woofer and the tweeter. i had mine done by MrMarv here on the forum.. search his name and u will find him.. here are the ones he made for me:

Is there an acoustic advantage to having the tweeters mounted there instead of up by the door mirrors or was it for convenience.

it is always good to keep the tweeter as close as possible to the woofer(2-3") to reduce the chance of separation.. i have had this component setup in a few diff ways.. 1st was woofer in the door, tweeter in the door panel.. 2nd was woofer in the door, tweeter in the A pillar.. and this is the third with the woofer and tweeter in the door... despite the fact that the first 2 setups were in a diff car(still a camry, just a 93), the SQ is sooo much better in my new car.. the highs were too pronouced when they were positioned in the door panel and a pillars. of course it is partially driver preference too.. oh another minor reason why i put them in the doors is because i want my system to look as stock as possible..
