4th Generation Amp goes to protection mode

Alright, here's the scoop. Today as I was cleaning out my car (car on and speakers boomin) I must have hit the speaker wires so they came out of my subwoofer and touched together. My amp went directly into proection mode and now I cannot get it out of it. I checked all the fuses.

well, first off, what kind of amp is it? certain amps, like my kennwood, flash different protected mode colors indicating different kind of problems. i would recheck the wires and make sure they aren't still touching, perhaps you have a strand or two still bridged. In theory, protected mode should clear every time the amp turns on unless there is still a problem.

It's a Pyramid PB700 piece. The color of the light is red.
