Audio Newbie ~deck question

Hi, I'm planning to get a deck for my 94 Camry LE v6. Right now i have a factory installed CD and tape player... but I have a few questions regarding getting a new deck....

first: will any deck i get be able to power the factory speakers?

second: since i'll only be getting a CD deck, will i be able to keep my factory tape player?

third: will it improve the sound quality compare to the factory CD player?

forth: is there anything i should be looking into... like what specification i should look for... and anything i should AVOID when i'm picking out a deck?

fifth: any recommendations of deck i should take into consideration?

Thanks!!!

1.Yes, but an additional amp and better speakers would sound alot better.
2. Well yeah, this isnt 1980's, just use CD's
3.No you wont, the new headunit wont most likely be compatible with the tape deck.
4.Well it should be a bit better in adjustments, so I'd say yeah it could sound better
5.Alpine, Clarion, Pioneer is my personal top 3 (not in that particular order tho)

is it recommended that i get an amp?
i was reading a description about this deck
...."The premium-quality power supply and output capacitors ensure pristine sound quality, while the gold-plated 4-volt preamp outputs provide exceptional signal transfer to component amps and subs. (Component amps are required — this receiver has no internal amp.)"

so does taht i mean i have to get an amp inorder for the deck to work with my factory speakers?

If you're really determined to retain the ability to play CD & Cassette, you can get an aftermarket unit that does both, like this one from Pioneer:

The receiver u quoted will REQUIRE an external amp or else no sound.
