OXNARD, Calif., (August, 2007) – Scosche Industries, an innovator of mobile electronic products and accessories for the aftermarket, today announced it is shipping an all-new OEM (original equipment manufacturer) iPod Input interface allowing full iPod control through the factory radio. The new interface, designed for 2004-up Select Lexus / Toyota / Scion vehicles, allows consumers to upgrade their functionality without replacing the factory radio. The primary function of Scosche’s interface is to allow seamless integration of an iPod with a factory head-unit enabling connectivity with an external audio source such as an iPod.

“We are pleased to add the Toyota interface to our family of OEM integration products,” said Kas Alves, vice president, sales and marketing, Scosche Industries. “Our new interfaces allow consumers to upgrade their factory radios to control their iPod and our AXIPTA allows the user more flexibility. We are proud to bring another first-to-market product with our newest Toyota interface.”

Scosche’s new interface, the AXIPTA, allows full text scrolling, full iPod menu navigation including artist, genre, album and song title, seek up and down and volume control through the factory radio. The interface also includes an additional universal RCA audio input for other Mp3 player, DVD player or video game console. The AXIPTA will also retain the factory satellite radio feature if equipped. The interface is an easy plug-n-play installation with all the necessary harnesses included in a installer-friendly compact design.

Scosche diverse line of OEM integration products includes the AXIPGMLAN, for 2007-up Chevrolet and GMC vehicles and the AXIPCL2 for select Class 2 vehicles. Scosche is also developing an auxiliary input interface for popular Honda vehicles.

The AXIPTA is now shipping and will be available at specialty retailers across the country. The suggested retail price of the AXIPTA is $199.99. Visit http://www.scosche.com for more information on these and other award-winning custom kit, factory fit products.
