Hi Guys

I have Toyota Camry 1998, and I was wondering from where I can buy a CD player or CD changer that fit the room under the cassette!

Any help would be appreciated

Either the dealer or ebay, assuming you meant it as an add-on, while keeping the factory cassette deck and using it as the controller for the CD player/changer.

Yes, that’s exactly what I meant. I need to keep my old cassette and use it as a controller to the cd player or cd changer.
Actually I went to the dealer, but they doesn’t have it… I was thinking about after market one or old one.

The dealer most likely do not stock those items anymore since it is an older unit. There is no aftermarket add-on single CD player that will work with the factory cassette deck...well, actually, Crutchfield advertise there is one they carry, which is $200 USD. You can always get an adapter to control a hideaway CD changer.

i dont know why the hell this thread was moved, since it has to do with the room in the camry dash, not specific audio/video knowledge. Grrrr to whomever did the move!

Any aftermarket CD player that is DIN sized, thats the standard size, will fit in there. You will have to splice a lot of the wires to hook it up though, and you couldnt have the power on both at the same time. At least that is if the Stock toyota player DOESNT have RCA outputs, if it DOES, then you can just get a new head unit with RCA inputs and hook them up that way... BUT im not sure about the year of the factory player.

my camry came with a cd player in it already...it shouldnt be too hard to get ahold of. i would post a pic of the whole setup but im currently installing an audiobahn 400W amp so my dash is kinda torn apart.
