can anyone tell me the proper way to hook up a capcitor like how to charge it and how to wire it up

and oncew hooked up do i ever have to do anyhting to it and what to be carefull about

there should be a circuit board that came with the capacitor to charge it

....DO NOT CHARGE THE CAP WITHOUT THE CIRCUIT BOARD....

hook up your power 12volt and ground to the circuit board and charge the cap at least to 10 volts (check with a volt meter) from this point you can hook it up with no problems...good luck with the install

P.S. some caps will come with a resistor rather than a circuit board depending on the name brand....
