Deck install question

I installed this CD player in my car

Can I flush mount this one too? Do I have to modify the bracket or anything?

thanx

it probably won't be flush (if by flush you mean nice and flat against your console)...

my friend has a hu like that and it just sits out a little, basically because of the way it has to sit to screw into the metal bracket...so if you wanna flush mount it, i'm guessing you'd have to drill two/four holes into the metal bracket that is in your car and then you could screw it in and look clean...

not a hard task, but a task nonetheless

please correct me if i'm wrong

it kinda depends.....to say, you've gotta give more info.....

does it have a motorized face? cuz if it does, then I odn't think it can even when its in that position.....but after you take off the face, the actual brain should be flush most likely.....if that makes any sense...?

Ok, the only way its going to be "flush" is if you take off the plastic ring around it that you see in the picture. I had to take it off my deck (pioneer 8400mp), but other than that it'll be fine. So go for it!

Ok cool, thanx to all that responded

When you take the plastic trim piece off... does it look retarded? IE.. big gap around the deck? thanx

Just mount it first the regular way to get an idea of how much further back you have to drill your new holes.
