I'm on a 140 dollar budget, just need something that's good, and has alot of expandability incase I wanna go all out. Just need it for use of Aux Input and a few CD's for long trips.

Friend works at my local Target, will do thanks!
Is Pioneer better then Kenwood as a brand?
In some cases yeah, the Headunits your looking at are going to run you a little over $140 because of the wiring harness and dash kit (if you're not buying them from Target)

Won't he get the dash kit, wiring harness and detailed installation instructions free from Crutchfield? I know they used to throw that stuff in free if the deck cost $129.99 or more.

Yeah, that's why I'm looking at crutchield, outside retailers it's 110 bucks, but no free master sheet, wiring harness, and free toll number.
So are those two good? =D Leaning towards Pioneer, but Kenwood looks ugly but expandable.

I've had good luck with Crutchfield and highly recommend them. I've purchased quite a bit of car stereo stuff from them as well as my plasma TV and receiver. I really like their lifetime tech support. I've called them when I've transferred head units and they've actually sent me free kits for the new vehicle. You might end up paying a little bit more from them but their service can't be beat.
I've had both Pioneer and Kenwood head units and didn't have any problems with either of them. I don't think you can go wrong with either. It will probably come down to how the head unit will look in your car. FWIW, my Pioneer was stolen but nobody wants my Kenwood!!

HAHAH! Thanks man, you really made me think, I'm going ot save up for the Pioneer, and look around a tiny bit more. Thread closed, gonna save up for a small buttoned, sexy blue pioneer!
Any other audio improvement tips, are welcomed...>.> (tweeters, tips for installing, wtf is a crossover? sub?)

You might also want to check the Crutchfield Outlet ( http://www.crutchfield.com/outlet/?cc=02 ). That should save you some cash. If you want to buy speakers, the Scratch and Dent Store is the place to go. You can get some pretty good deals there and on the stuff I've ordered, you can hardly even tell where it was scratched or dented.
Here's an idea I'd like to float by you. Kenwood is offering $50 off a head unit if you order two sets of speakers - http://www.crutchfield.com/popups/of...?offerid=22204. I know it breaks your budget a bit but if you can scratch up the extra cash, you'll get a whole Kenwood system for $189.97. I plan on ordering this system in a few days.
I'm planing to buy that at the end of this week. It has HD Radio build in, USB input and AUX in also... you can also add bluetooth for only $50 more ...
I think it is a best deal... what more do you want on the head unit. It has everything..
I have Pioneer DEH-P3900MP that i bought it two months ago and didn't have a chance to install it... so i'm gonna ebay Pioneer DEH-P3900MP and get Dual XHD6425 because i need USB input.
Thanks for the advice, but I heard alot of negative things about Dual brand, and I don't really need a USB since Zune really doesn't support most head units or vice versa. But thanks for the advice.
And thanks eilros but 190 is WAY over my budget, barely have the 150 in my hands. Thanks alot though!
What's you honest opinion on CEA RMS rating vs Non-CEA RMS ratings? Just wondering, because I'm looking at the Alpine haha
