Ipod + Camry

I just got an ipod, and want to connect it to my camry. However, I heard that the fm transmitter is lowsy and the two decent options are to connect it directly or use the tape method, which is better ( I would prefer the tape, I dont want any excess wiring ), but will the tape be sufficient for audio quality. The tape connects from the headphone jack onto the ipod into a tape which you then put int he tape drive of your car

SekziCamry,
someone told me about this.

http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pietoyaux.html

however, i have yet to try it yet. my idea was keeping my ipod in the glove compartment and having it hooked up to the stereo as an aux. however, i don't think that you can change songs and stuff through the stereo.

I have a gen 4 camry ('99) with a built in cd player (holds one), and the ipod is a generation (2) 10 gb.

If you have a tape deck... just use the mini-to-cassette adapter. They're really cheap and it's so easy to do and the SQ is decent.
