Gen5 12" Bazooka tube - opinions?

i jus saw that Bazooka came out with a 12" tube. i was thinking of getting the DVC version becuz it handles 300W RMS.

i'm currently running a 10" Alpine Type R sub in a sealed box, giving it 400W RMS, and "corner-loaded" it in my camry, for best bass. it sounds tight (accurate) and hits good lows, but its not loud enuff for me.

im wondering if anyone's tried the 12" tube, if it sounds decent. being that its virtually a ported enclosure and all its energy is firing into the corner, i'm sure it can get loud. jus wondering if it can hit the lows like a regular box.

I had the 10 inch tubes powered by a rockford fosgate amp (my first system) and they surprised the hell out of me... they were loud as hell.

Im sure the 12's are decent.

nah, i'll B using the same (Alpine) amp. it wuld be overpowered, but i'll jus keep the gain lower. i was runnin a 300W RMS sub before, no problems there, so i think i'll give it a try...

IMHO, i dont really like how they sound.. the sound is too focus for my liking. just for some bass, they are decent. though.
