Need tunes to ROCK!

I have searched and just cannot seem to find what I am looking for. I have a DC and I am ready to upgrade the tunes. Head unit... single... double... don't care, just want USB hookup I would like to amp some components up. Not a real a bass person, just like to hear loud clear sounds, highs and mids..

I've got a pioneer deh-6900ub and it comes usb ready for a jump drive or to hook up an ipod. However, it doesn't work with much besides that--i'm sure portable harddrives would work but you need to have a powered one because the power supplied is limited. Also, all the usb stuff needs to be formatted in fat32...still, i got my usb key to work. I also changed the front speakers to the db6500's from polk audio and these things kick for what they are. It's enough bass for what i listen to but if you want to push these things to full potential definately get a 4 channel amp.

Ive been looking at the pioneer dehp7900bt. it doesn't have the usb input you are looking for, you would have to purchase the pioneer cd-ub100 to get it. it does have built in bluetooth technology which is why ive been thinking about going with it...otherwise i know the dehp6900ub and the sony cdxgt610ui have usb inputs.as far as speakers go you have 6x9 components in the front doors and 6 1/2 in the rear doors. taco tunes offers adapters to install 6 1/2 in the front. taco tunes also has a pre-fab box for a 10'' sub behind the left rear passenger seat. kicker, elclipse, and polk sound great. polk with have more of a full range than the others. i agree with dantheman....if you want good, clean, loud sound.....go with a 4 channel amp.

Honestly grey dog i never use the usb interface i just put my zen in the like pencil holder slot but if you do have an ipod it's an advantage to have that...so really if you already have an mp3 player, don't count on it working until you check that it's compatible
