LCD screen problem
A few months ago I bought a used Toyota 2004 Sienna LE that had the original flip-down LCD screen (I think Toyota calls it the Rear Entertainment System; it consists of the flip-down LCD screen with several buttons, and two audio outputs with volume controls) and an aftermarket DVD player installed in the upper glove box. Recently the LCD screen has become unresponsive and shows only white when turned on, with sometimes some variations, but no picture. None of the buttons just under the LCD screen seem to make any difference or change, nor does turning everything off and back on. I saw a similar problem before I bought it, but when the dealer looked at it the problem went away, so it might be a simple fix, but I don't have a clue where to start. I'd like to avoid taking it to a dealer if I can help it, but I will if I must. Does anyone have an idea of what went wrong or how it might be reset?
Thanks!
