Viper 5900

Anyone here have any experience installing one of these? I'm thinking about tackling the install by myself. I've never installed an alarm/remote start before. I'm really knowledgeable with electrics and wiring. I have the box and the immobilizer in front of me and its very tempting to install instead of having my employer install it. Any tips, precautions, hints, or a whole DIY would be greatly appreciated!

i have worked as a Installer for the past 8 years and its nice to save some money and try doing things yourself but if you dont have the proper tools you can do some serieous damage to your vehicle. tapping wires is not that hard and the Tacomas are pretty easy to work on. The hardest part is making it look clean and getting the immobilizer in the right spot. A gret spot for the brain is under the dash pad behind the gauge cluster lots of room and it keeps things from getting cluttered under the stearing column
