amp install and nothing

just in installed a new deck on my 07, and had to splice the wires to the deck.. was also installing a amp and an 10' tube.
First off of my problems was that i had a loud humm when i first hooked everything up.. so i ground the deck, which i didnt do in the first place, so i did that and now my sub is not hitting... before with the hmmm it was hitting w/o the ground and now it wont even hit..

i recheckd everything.. wires, ground, etc.. i got power to the amp. got the remote from deck to amp hookd up.. rca's hookd up.. speaker wire.. but nothing, from the sub now??
what gives???

Any specifics as to car, stereo brand, etc.

Wiring OK? Is a wire grounded to the deck, hence when you ground the deck you short out this wire.

did you use the amp turn on lead (blue white) or did you use the power ant
lead(blue) the power ant lead will send 12v out when the am/fm tunner is on but as soon as you put in a CD in it shuts down. The Amp turn on lead is 12v all of the time as long as the radio is on
