Question Will a Pioneer AVIC-D3 Fit in a 2005 Corolla?

I'm wanting to replace the stock cd player in my 2005 corolla and i figured I'll just get Satnav since I do a lot of driving. A co-worker of mine has the D3 and I like the system, so I was planning on getting it.

But according to crutchfield.com, it won't fit my car. is that true? I mean it's just a normal double din isn't it?

so what's the verdit? fit or no fit?

Yes it's just a double din unit and should fit with NO problem.

I have this unit in my '95 Camry and love it...

Yeah, it will. All you need to do is get the Metra 95-8204 kit. Any 95-series kit is double din while a 99-series is single din. You will need a Metra 70-1761 wiring harness (80-1761 if you get it from Circuit City) and just wire that up with the harness that comes with the Pioneer AVIC-D3.

Here's instructions for the kit: http://documents.victorytechnologies...ct/95-8204.pdf
