Vip Alarm System

i JUST PURCHASED A 2003 TACOMA. i AM IN NEED OF AN ALARM. tHE FACTORY IS PRETTY PRICEY,BUT NOT SURE IF IT IS WORTH IT.THEY TOLD ME IF I WENT WITH ANOTHER BRAND OR TYPE,THAT MY WARRENTY WOULD BE VOIDED. IS THERE ANY TRUTH TO THIS? ANY COMMENTS OR ADVICES ON AN ALARM SYSTEM.

Well, not really. because you have limited time.

I got the Compustar 2WSS-AS ..

Its for standard and auto tranny, auto starter, everything.

An improperly installed alarm MAY void your warranty if it's installed by somebody that isn't appropriately licensed and doens't know what they're doing. With that said, if your struts leak pre-maturely, the dealer can't deny coverage because teh alarm has no effect on the suspension components. However, if your ECU get's fired..you might have a tough time making a claim.

Thousands of ppl have aftermkt alarms installed everyday without any problems. Find a reputable shop and get an alarm that suits your needs and budget.
