stupid question about amp wiring

alright i've finally gotten everything together in order to install this amp. im just doing some preliminary wiring before everything goes in the car. but now i have a question and it might sound kind of stupid but im stumped. my amp uses weco connectors for the power and ground. my question is, the weco connectors are big enough to fit a wire that is about 1/4 of an inch in diameter, however my 4gauge wire is about 2 times as big. so what the hey? should i go look for a different weco connector that will accommodate my wire or how should i go about getting the power and ground wires connected to the amp? thanks!

yeah there should be 4 guage wire connectors... i know circuit city has them but theyre a little expensive there. you dont necessarily need them but you may need to cut some of the little wires so itll fit into the thing on the amp
