Infinity kappa perfects or alpine Type R components in 98 camry doors??? !!!HELP!!!

Will 6.5" infinity kappa perfects or 6.5" type r components fit into the front doors of a 98 camry csi??? (australian model)...im mainly concerned with the amount of depth needed to mount them in the doors and also is it 6.5 or 6 3/4" speakers i need?

Yes they will fit. You can always use brackets for larger/smaller size, but I think our STOCK speakers are 6.5. I have Kappas series in the front which were 6.5 and they fit perfectly.

I've seen several posts from Australian members in the last couple months asking about door speakers for Gen 3 and Gen 4 Camrys, and in several of the posts it was implied that the speaker openings in the Australian Camrys are different from the American Camrys. Nobody has ever posted a picture of an Australian door with the door panel off though for comparison etc.

I keep wondering if the doors are actually different, or if they're the same and the Australian Camrys just have a different speaker housing adapter.
