i'm running a pair of 12" dual voice coil Clarions.
they aiight. not the loudest. but i got a good deal on them... so good bang for the bump. i like JL's myself. i was kinda impressed with my friend's Bazooka tube too.
Rarray... like the setup. I'm running 2 MTX Thunder 6000 12s with a matching MTX amp. Probably not as loud as JL but plenty for me and the surrounding 100yards or so.

ooo infinity kappa perfects.. loved those, i had 3 perfect 12s a while ago i gotta say they were one of the best sounding subs ive heard.. they werent the loudest but clean. Im running a single Digital Design 9500series 12 now in a box i built and designed myself, pushing it is a Mtx 81000D.. sounds good i have it in a 3cu slot ported box so its really booming and tuned it to go low
Hmmmm, I take it not many people on here like Sound quality. I have heard a lot of "not loud enough" and "as loud as those"... Any one actually listen to thier music on here?? I am in the middle of switchin up my setup, But before I was rockin a Soundstream SPL 12' in a ported box powered by a Soundstream D100. Now I am using my friends SPL 170 powered by a Soundstream 702 (rated at 700 bench tested at 1000). Hes letting me use it since his Supra **(ma70.com/danmac)** is off the road. I most likely will either be getting a SPL 160 or a SPL 15". Oh, and by the way, Soundstream is the best shit.
Ive had a few systems in my car and am currently working on another one. One system that was cheap and would hit well was 2 12'' rockford HE2 subs. I was only pushing 300 watts with a 300S, but they can take alot more. I would outbass my cousins car pushing over 700 watts of non ROckford stuff. right now im sticking 2 12'' rockford power hx2 subs. RMS1000 watts and peak 2000watts. Sticking 800s amps to each voice coil. Thats like 1600 watts per sub. I havent heard the new JLW7s yet, so i cant compare, but i do love rockford.
Shuluke
I still have some equiptment if you want to see pictures or something.

actually, i'm more into SQ than SPL. i just bought a crossover that greatly improved the sound quality in my car (see my thread in the A/V section).
