got a project coming up..need advice

So my fiance has one speaker still working in her 02 maxima and I have been itching to upgrade from my stock JBL system in my 2004 camry se....so i was going with my old set of DLS c6's in my car, my old mmc6500 polks in hers..I have not done ANY work on a maxima before and I was hoping someone here had....any trouble spots to watch for on a HU swap and speaker switch..any on the g5 camry?

been away for a hot minute..law school kills me.....RIP to the Avalon, front right CV joint locked up on me on the interstate, went sideways, got ugly for her...she protected me to the end, not a scratch on me

thanks guys

The Maxima, if it's a Bose system, is going to be a pain. Nissan Bose systems are amplified at each speaker and pretty much require a rewire, as the factory speakers are usually 1 ohm or less. Head over to any Nissan forum, and I'm sure it's well documented what you need to do to bypass the factory amp.

The Camry is pretty much straight forward. Get a dash kit and wiring harness from Best Buy or where ever you get stuff, and follow the instructions in the kit.
