Electrical Issues on 03 Echo... help please...
Hi...
My friend has a 2003 Toyota Echo. No part of her vehicle has been modified. She was having a few weird issues and I thought I would post and ask for help as I don't own a Toyota.
Originally, her Radio, Clock, and Dome Lights would go out. It came back on after her dad started hitting the dashboard area, specifically under the glovebox. It came back on, but recently, the problem occurred again. All fuses were checked and everything seems fine.
This time, the Clock would work, but the light output was very dim. The Radio and Dome Lights would not work. After a few days, everything came back on.
Another issue, I doubt is related, is with the gauges. One time, as she started the car, the needles on all gauges swept all the way to the right and then came back down. I know some cars have this feature, but from my understanding, the Echo doesn't.
Does anyone have any insight as to what her problems may be? Thanks for all the help.
