it's going into protect because you have it wired wrong... perhaps you hooked up subs with lower impendance than the amp is rated for, perhaps your power and ground are touching, could be a number of things

Go over your wiring and make sure nothing is grounding out somewhere. Check your speaker wires and make sure everything is in order...

Thanks guys,
Seems when i was redoing my interior, and took my seatbelts out the back, when i put everything back how it was (or so i thought)...looks like I had some connection problems, wire was grounded out. IT's all fixed now, and everything is peachy again.
