Canada 2009 Corolla - Single or Double DIN?

I have just got a 2009 Corolla S in Canada, however I liked the look of the XLE version with the built in NAV (not available in Canada). Does anyone know if the 2009 Corolla is Double or Single DIN? On CrutchfieldCanada.com it says the HU is Single DIN only, but to me it looks like there is adequate room for a double DIN unit, plus a Double DIN would look a lot better.

Here is a picture of the XLE:

And a picture of what the S dash looks like (same as XRS):

Thanks in advance!

Ya I am wondering the same thing. I'm looking at possibly installing the Kenwood DNX8120 into an LE. Did you have any luck figuring out if a double din will fit in the 09 Corolla?

Yeh

I have also purchased the Corolla S. I would like to mod it the console with a pioneer dvd player or nav 5-7 inches. How would I able to do that.
Also would the buttons on the steering wheel still work?

So many things I don't know about this new toyota..
