Amp setup advice??

Currently I am running a Kicker 07C128 Sub (300watts Max, 150RMS) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...er+07C128.html in a sealed box off of a cheap Jensen Amp (300 Watts Max) http://www.cmttrading.com/computer/item13423.html . I am wondering if i should upgrade the amp?

Also, I just bought these speakers http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...udio+HK69.html . Will those be alright running off deck power? Heres my deck (similar anyway) http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-P2900MP.html# . Or will I need to run it off of amp power?

Im new to the audio scene, so I dont know much but I understand the basics. Im not looking for too much when it comes to the audio in my 92 Camry, but just a little more kick than stock. Any help would be appreciated! thanks

Jake..

Why did you get a single 8 ohm sub? That amp will output 150W RMS into a 4 ohm load bridged, but only 1/2 that into 8 ohms.

Those speakers will work fine off the HU, but why upgrade the rear speakers only? What are you running in front? I upgraded the rear speakers and left the stock speakers in my car before - it sounded really weird because it made it sound like everything was coming from behind me which is undesirable to me.

If you can afford it throw something like these up front:
6-3/4"

6-1/2"

This one is silk tweeter but there is aluminum tweeter version also:http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...Tweeters-.html

I got a single sub because a friend of mine was selling a single 12in box cheap, so I couldnt pass that up. I am planning on running the stockers up front for the time being, atleast until late April. I would like to upgrade the entire system, but then again its a 1992 Camry, and I probably wont be driving it once I reach college..

what he means is why did you get an 8 ohm sub, not 4 or even 2 ohms, your amp pushes 150 rms into 4 ohms, only 75 into 8, and 300 into 2 ohms, although it may not be stable to 2 ohms. An 8 ohm sub is probably meant to be wired in parallel. 4 of these in parallel would lead to a 2 ohm load on the amp, and two in parallel would be a 4 ohm load.

This sub is halving the amount of power your getting from that amp, it will sound fine, it's just not efficient.

As far as the speakers, if the H.U. really has 22 W RMS they will sound alright off it, but I doubt it does. They are pretty efficient though. They would sound better off an amp, but unless you are listening to it loud it should sound fine. Also, because you have a sub it takes some load of the speakers for bass, so if your H.U. can, send less bass to the speakers.

Well I took some advice from a friend, and bridged my amp. It seems noticeably louder.
