stupid questions on hooking up 2nd amp

right now i have spaekers running off my headunit, and an amp powering my 12"'s. now i'm getting a second amp with a amp wire kit for my speakers, and have just a few questions for hooking it all up.

for power to it, do i splice into my old power wire?
do i splice the remote wire for the second amp?
i will need an adaptor for the second set of RCA's?

any help on how to do all this is much appreciated.

i just bought an amp too kekekke...but it's on layby, not enough money anyways...

firstly how many rca channels are you running or have avaiable from your head unit. if you have only one channel then you will need y splitters, unless your sub amp has a rca bypas output(basically rca sockets which send the same signal out as that which you send so that you can use for another amp .sorry for lack of more descriptive words, just came back from an exam so my brain is dead...)

if you only have the one channel then just get y splitters it's the brown and orange thing in the below pic...

for the power you could splice but best if you get a power distribution block, you can get one from jaycar for a few dollars..
and remember to upgrade the fuses accordingly, you don't want a fire now kekekeke

if you have any more questions just ask away....
