Amplifier Install Location

Hello, I am new to this forum. I would like to install a second amplifier in my 2004 Camry. I already have an Alpine 4-channel in the trunk. I am installing a second amplifier so that the rear and front speakers are driven by one amplifier each. Is it safe to install an amplifier under the passenger seat? There isn't space left in the rear shelf which is where my current Alpine amp is located. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply. My amplifiers are old. Both are Alpine. One is an MRV-F301 and the other is a 3553. Both are from the late 1990s. The MRV-F301 is rated at 40Wx4 and the 3553 is rated at 35Wx4. I'm going to bridge each one to two-channel. The MRV-F301 will drive the rear speakers and the 3553 will drive the front speakers. These amps are not large but they are wide so both will not fit under the rear deck shelf in the trunk. But that is okay because I have a small Blade mono amp which should fit under the rear deck shelf beside the MRV-F301 and the Blade amp will drive my subwoofer. All my stuff is old. I just transfer them from my old cars to my new ones since I don't want to spend money on audio when I can just keep using my old stuff. Cheers!
