i have a viper 500 esp alarm and i was wondering how to hook it up to my dome light. so when i unarm my car it comes on you know.... Thanx!

I've got the 300 ESP, installed by Circuit City. I let them install the dome light feature, which requires a relay. I guess you'd have the relay hooked up to some form of..... screw it, no clue.

I'd look for a diagram from DEI and/or ask places that sell/install them.

$40?!?!?!?!

That's insane. Circuit City charges $12, and that's high. Go to Radioshack, they're about $5.

I work at Circuit City and I have no idea about alarms (I'm in mobile electronics).

The instructions are in the installation manual.

Wiring it up does require a relay (12 volt 30/40A spdt automotive relay).

I can explain how to wire it up, but i'll just scan the diagrams out of the installation manual instead.

Toyota's use a negative (-) trigger for the doors.
