noob question about caps

I've got a 1 farad digital cap. When I turn off my car, the cap still stays on, it is suppose to do that ? Will that drain out my battery ?

All help will be appreciated.

Yes, that will drain the battery. Make sure the turn-on for the digital display on the cap is connected to the blue/white wire of the aftermarket headunit. If you have the OEM radio, connec the turn-on to an ignition wire.

Oh well, I'm glad I was "semi"-wrong, it seems like caps with a digital meter has a delay turn-off, to avoid the popping sound. I never had the patience to wait and see if the digicap would turn off or not.
