3rd Generation Custom Rear Deck & Wiring, I need some Help...

Ok guys, now that the brand new engine is on its way, and all of the performance upgrades have been made, I want to move onto the interior next, starting with the sound =D. I'm a bigggg fan of loud music and heavy bass that sounds good and clear, so I'm planning on adding two 10" subs and an amp, something simply, probably a nice set of sony xplod's at walmart and a sony amp there, trying to keep it within my finances. Also, I was doing some browsing earlier tonight, and came across a 93 camry, similar to my 92, that had a custom rear deck, in which the owner had made a new deck out of 3/4" plywood, and fit both his 6x9's in the far corners, and two 10's in the middle area, and that's my new goal. I want to pull off the same thing somehow, but I've never had to wire subs/amps in before. So heres what I need to ask you guys:

1) For this custom deck, I'm going to try to keep my pioneer 6x9's as well, and move them to the far corners like this guy did, so ill leave them wired in, and just cut out new holes in the plywood for them to fit comfortably.

2) Now my big question, the Wiring. Could someone hook me up with a wiring diagram on how to wire up two sony 10" woofers into a sony amp and bring it all together? I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'll be doing it in my shop class at school under my toyota tech teachers supervision (he knows everything IMO, lol) so he can show me how to do it, but i want to know what I'm doing, and be able to visualize it, so if someone could tell me how a sub/amp setup works, It'd be greatly appreciated.

3) If anyone has any ideas to help with my custom deck idea, it'd be a big help, because I know im going to have a lot of work ahead of me. For one thing, when I remove the original cheapo material rear deck, theres that bit of steel that currently hold the 6x9's in place now and stuff, so I'm probably going to have to cut a larger portion in the center of all that out, to make room for the deeper subs and the relocation of the 6x9's. Also, I'll have to fit the new deck's plywood to fit around the rear windshield brakelight as well, and also, will I need to make a subwoofer box under the deck (inside the trunk) to enclose the subwoofers in? Also, if I am to make the woofer box, should I go ported or closed, I'm looking for deep, powerful, clear base for my music, keep in mind.

So It's a lot of questions, all the help you guys can give will make this huge project a whole lot easier for me, can't wait to hear thought/ideas/advice! Thanks!

-Derek

UPDATE: Here's what I'm planning on picking up for woofers & amp, and also a basic diagram that I'm wondering if it will be complete enough to help me wire up my subs to the amp. LMK, thanks!

As always, thanks!

Do you have a picture of that custom rear deck by any chance?

No, unfortunately I don't. I was following some links as I was searching for something and just accidentally came across it, as some guy was installing it in his car, and it showed his final product, but that's about it.
