Looking to ad a factory amp to my '92 Previa. Need to see if I have correct wires
I'm in the process of replacing the radio on my '92 Previa with the premium (circa 1992) stock hardware, and am going to be getting a stock amplifier as well.
The Previa already had the 15-pin plug that plugs into radios w/o internal amps, and I've found three loose plugs taped up behind the glove box that all come the same cable bunch. Two of them are identical to the 10 and 6 pin plugs that plug into radios with internal amps, but the third is a 14 pin plug. Also, all three plugs are the same "end". The Toyota amps I've seen need the cable coming from the radio to end in a "socket" with pins instead of a "plug" with pin holes.
If these are indeed the correct cables, what model number amp uses the 14 pin input?
