Cracking sound....speakers or amp gone bad?

Hey guys.....I have a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB running Kicker speakers all around....the speakers are not running directly from the cd player.......they are actually running off of a 2 channel Memphis amp which puts out 200x2 watts MAX........I have noticed lately that I get this cracking sound coming from the front right speaker.....or maybe even from the back right speakers when playing music with drums and guitar bass......or atleast thats when its more prominent.........I switched the front right speaker with a Rockford Fosgate speaker to see if it makes a difference........but it didnt do anything.....so what do you guys think the problem is.......amp....cd player......? where should I begin? I dont have another 2 channel amp to test out the amp? Input will be appreciated greatly
