Ohm Independance Question

hey guys a quick question does the independance of a speaker does anything with the systems performance like will the amp fry or anything like that if the ohm doesnt match or it doesnt really have anything to do with it im really not sure about this sorry if im not clear any adivce would be appreciated

If you had a question you should be more clear, a general question like that would be a waste of time to answer.

You can find info on this if you took the time to do a search on google.

Some amps are not stable at lower ohms. Most amps are two ohm stable, if you put a 1 ohm load and the amp can't handle it, it was either blow the fuse or overheat and cut out, who knows what else can happen.

Amps usually produce more power at lower ohms, but also produce more distortion.

Now there are ways to wire two SVC 8ohm speakers to a 4 ohm load.

Since most car audio subs are 4 ohms, you can hook it up in parallel putting a 2 ohm load on the amp to get more power out of the amp. Now if you have DVC speakers, you can go as low as 1ohm considering your amp can handle it.
