I was wondering if anyone has tried the MTX Mangnum 1000 Watt system. It comes with two 500 RMS 12" subs in a box, and a monoblock 1000 Watt amp. it's pretty affordable, which is the part that scares me lol. I'm a big time noob in the sound system business but i just want a couple hard hittin subs in the trunk of my 98' corolla. is this the way to achieve that or should i be going more watts/money? also i noticed on that system it says the sub cones are Polymer coated paper. are these bad quality subs?

dont do it, its just cheap crap its not real mtx save your money and buy good equipment. keep in mind this is just my opinion but if were you i would got to the mtx wed site to see there real stuff.

That does not look like MTX stuff,look else where.Try some of the car audio sites to get some ideas.What's ur budget?
