I have had a PA15 installed in my Camry. Because I listen to books rather than music I had the installer supposedly change the settings on the PA15 so that the control was passed to the Ipod unit itself.
I have two questions:
a) how do I get the radio/CD to go to DISC #8, which will make the control really over to the Ipod itself. I seem to end up at DISC #7, which creates all sorts of problems. I have pushed lots of numbered buttons on the CD changer and the ^ and down buttons on the side, but it does not go from #7 to #8.
b) the installer ran the connector cord through my glove compartment and the cord/jack is about 18" long. If I close the glove compartment box with the cord hanging out, will this damage the cord?
Thanks for advice, especially on item (a). It is very frustrating now.
