toyota tercel 91 re stereo system

As you will see, I am very new to the stereo thing. I bought a 91 tercel. Radio/cassette work fine(toyota logo), but cd player does not , its an alpine 7802,compact disc compatible, 30w+30w ) I did not know this, so I go and put in a cd that my son had burnt for me and it is still in there as the cd player is not working, I guess. anyone out there with ANY SUGGESTIONS would be mucho aprreciated. Plus there is a wire under drivers seat( loose) and one under stereo/gearshift panel(also loose) When I pulled my ash tray out to empty I saw a red jack but it was not hooked up to anything either plus there is also 2 white wires not hooked up to anything!
Please Help!

Is this a factory cd player? I'm thinking not; (91Tercel?)if you don't know anything about wiring car stereos take it to an aftermarket car audio dealer that sells /installs the same brand as the one you have. Check the YP...

If it IS factory, go to the dealer.

Sometimes there's a reset button, again it all depends on what you have.

I put a little more info in about the cd player. I edited my info in my thread. It is a alpine 7802 30w+30w and radio/cassette is toyota brand, so it probably was not installed in factory. I guess to find out what all those loose wires go to I will have to go to a alpine dealer here cuz I don't know didly about the difference between a cd changer or a head unit, or wiring: Thanks for taking the time to try and give me some info on the whole thing.
