just got my nav unit back from the installer.
It fits great but the system does not function properly.
The touch screen to open and close the screen work, I can insert and remove cd's and dvd's but they don't play and the tilt screen works.
Nothing plays, the radio, cd's or dvd's, nothing.
The installer is telling me I need to have the navigation cd installed before anything else will work.
Is this true or do I have a dead unit?
The unit is out of a 2008 Scion I bought used w/out the navigation cd.
I have a cd comming next week.
