2 amps, 1 ground?

just purchased a multiple amp install kit. it came w/ a distribution block to have both amps grounded to the same place.

it is ok to ground both amps through the distro block to the same spot, or should i ground each amp separately?

also, mounting the amps under seat, would the seat bolts be a good ground?

thanks for the help...

simple grounding is one of those things that you can't over-do... i might even ground to frame and neg battery terminal.
if you have a volt meter? ck continuity between the seat-bolt, and frame and neg battery terminal.

To answer your question, one good ground will work fine.

Ground is ground. If you have one or 20 it doesn't matter as long as it is a solid ground.

True.

You have to make sure that the wire can handle it, too. I wouldn't use anything smaller than 10 guage. I used 8 on mine.

seat bolts will probably be fine, but wherever you ground make sure you grind off any paint or coating first.
