I am looking for a good car alarm for my camry since it has been broken into again. What do you guys suggest. I am looking in the 200-400 dollar range. Thanks
Matt

lol, I thought that was so stupid. So what if it tells you what part of the car their breaking into. Its STILL BAD! Its not like if I saw the damn thing beeping and said to myself "Oh, they are breaking into my trunk. Eh thats not that important. Ill stay here and finish this movie."
They should just have one that sayd "Get the fuK back to your car!"

I personally like the DEI alarms... I have the Viper 550ESP in my Eclipse. It's in the $200-400 price range and has remote start as well as a few other goodies.
Directed's new stuff is cool. I like the new Viper alarms. Some of them have built-in turbo timers and such. Would have saved me some cash if they had this stuff out sooner.

hahaha are you some type of smart a$s! haha no jk thats funny I have never thought of that : )
Anything from Directed.
They make viper, hornet, datel, and many many other brands. They are the best and easiest to install. If its your first time and you are getting auto start see about having someone put it in.
I have Hornetts top of the line with the lcd two way remotes and all the bells and whistles. windows, trunk popper, I can add a door one, but just don't want to spend the $200 on the parts for the front doors (unless there is a cheaper way)
one problem with buying from somewhere other than where you are getting it installed is many companies won't install what they don't sell. Tell the installer you got it as a gift and that you can't find anyone to do it and sometimes they take pity (even though they know you are full of it) and do it anyway.

I just got the DEI Clifford Matrix 3.5 and love it. Its great system, I customized it with added modules and all and love how it works. Plus the 2 way paging remote is tight. I can be a hella far away and start my car. Definately would recommend this alarm. Got ?s on it ask. We installed it with digital tilt sensors and window modules and all the other day. Not too hard after we prepped it. But took about 45 minutes for the prep work.
