Purchased new 08 Limited Highlander, while in finance they sold us an alarm system for $395.00, didn't specify at the time what it was.
Then noticed the Anti-theft\engine immobilizer system is standard

on a 2008 Limited Highlander.
Giving benefit of the doubt for now in thinking maybe it's the VIP RS3200 Plus with the glass breakage sensor.
Spoke with the finance person and explained to me that they come with a factory installed shock sensor\glass sensor alarm system that gets activated at the dealership.
So why does Toyota offer the VIP RS3200 Plus (Vehicle Intrusion Program) with glass breakage sensor? Wouldn't that require a seperate installation and not simply something that gets turned on/off. I'm a little confused and think I was ripped off.
Help me out, please!!
