Car alarm broken?

My sienna 2008 has an optional car alarm system installed at dealer when I bought it. I noticed that it beeps everytime half an hour or so, after I locked the car. Is there anything I can do? I will soon make an appointment for 6 month check-up control, and wonder if it takes time to repair it.

sounds like there could be a bad switch on the door or shock sensor, or hood switch. My alarm is aftermarket 2 way alarm and it would beep randomly because the switch under the hood was bad.

After reading your message, I contacted service department of my Toyota dealer. They soon wanted me to take un appointment.
So I will go and see what will happen, this Saturday.

I had thought that I did prorably something wrong, but thanks to your message, apparently something seems wrong with the switch under the hood!
