I'll just use some of the wire that comes with the amp wiring kit.

I was looking at these two. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My friend actually has a Toyota xtra cab and had a 10'' Type R, and JUST got a 12'' Type R today. He has it hooked up to the Alpine 850 and it pushes good and hard.

This is very helpful http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm I'm making my box to be 13"x13"x15.465" external dimensions. That comes out to 1.07 cubic feet minus the .07 the sub takes up and it's exactly 1 cubic foot or air space.

How should I set the settings on the back of the amp for break-in?

I normally set everything up from the beginning and then just listen at 50% volume for a few days to break them in, and thats it. To set the amp, I would start with the gain all the way down, then increase the radio volume to 3/4, make sure there is no distortion, if so, turn down volume untill distortion is gone. Next, adjust the gain on the amp to a setting right before it distorts. On the amp you will have to adjust the LP crossover, and I believe a bass boost setting also. Adjust the LP setting untill it is just low frequency bass playing from the subs, you don't want them playing any high frequencies. As for the bass boost setting that I believe is on that amp, just adjust it to your liking. When making these adjustments in the beginning don't worry about damaging the speaker. Basically the break is the time it takes for them to play there optimal sound. New speakers are stiff, once they loosen a little, the sound alot better.
